I use 12 grams for 1 liter of filtered and then specially mineralized water. 1st brew is robust and rich, with a 'rolls in your mouth' malty taste. 2nd brew is like a hearty smile! Tastes wonderful. 3rd brew is like the platonic ideal of Lipton tea -- far better than the actual brand name, but what they are apparently reaching for and cannot achieve. It's good.
